Arch Bishop Mallavarapu Prakash has recieved symbolic Pallium, a white wool symbolizing the office of the archbishop from Pope Francis at St. Peter's Basilica on 29 June 2013. On this occassion, Telugu Sangham has felicitated him on the same day at St. Peter's College, Rome.
